Rotimi Adebowale

Rotimi Adebowale is an experienced financial services professional with over 20 years of expertise in structuring and executing transactions across the maritime, oil and gas, and power sectors.
He holds a Second Class Upper degree in Computer Science with Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and an MBA from the University of Lagos. Over the course of his career, he has played a key role in raising capital for oil blocks and marginal fields, including leading a syndication exceeding $1 billion for a major Nigerian asset.
He is the founding Chief Executive Officer of Energia Associates, where he has provided strategic leadership for the past four years.
Rotimi previously served as Sector Head of the Oil, Gas, and Maritime Investment Banking Division at Ecobank International and UBA Plc, and was the pioneer Group Head of Operations at Bond Bank (now Providus Bank).
He also worked at Diamond Bank Nigeria (now Access Bank). In addition, he manages the Energy Fund under the Chapel Hill Denham Group.
He has participated in numerous local and international professional courses and conferences, and is a member of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists, the Nigerian Gas Association, and the International Association for Energy Economics.
